We are closing in on 36 weeks and we couldn't be happier. On one side of things we are so thankful he is cooking each and every day and on the other side we are so anxious to meet him.
**this post was written before he arrived**
I have been having a ton of contractions super close together. On Friday we went into labor and delivery because I was having them two minutes apart and having quite a bit of pressure along with them. Earlier in the week we had our doctors appointment and he said I was 2 cm and about 30% effaced. We made progress for sure. He even said I will either see you next week at the appointment or I will see you in the hospital. So when Friday rolled around I was a bit worried it could be happening. We went into labor and delivery and I was 2 cm still and she told me to go for a walk to see if I could get things going. After an hour with walking through painful contractions we came back and I was 4 cm. Still not enough to keep me and after a solid 6 hours of contractions they sent us home. I was really bummed about it, I thought it could have been the real deal. So We went home and just relaxed aftera full day of walking.
The girls were SUCH troopers through the whole thing. My sweet sweet mama brought them happy meals and they played on the playground at the hospital while we walked around for a few hours. They seriously deserve mad props for all they have put up with.

How far along: 36.5 Weeks
Total weight gain: 26 pounds.
Maternity clothes: a few dresses but mostly just usual wardrobe
Stretch marks: three spots are forming on my side and I am rubbing honest belly balm on them like crazy.
Sleep: still hit or miss I have been exhausted from walking so usually I hit the bed hard at night. But wake up either from contractions or discomfort.
Best moment of this week: just spending time together as a family.
Miss anything:My body. Wine. Running. Ok what doesn't a almost full term mama miss.
Movement:He moves like crazy, like fireworks going off at all times ;)
Food cravings: hmm.. nothing healthy that's for sure. We went to red robin the other night to treat the girls and that was pretty fantastic ;)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing making me sick this week,
Have you started to show yet: Absolutely!
Gender: BOY!

Belly button in or out: Flat if not OUT!

Happy or moody most of the time: Anxious and excited to meet him.
