First Term At Simpson

My first term at Simpson had it's ups and downs. School was everything i had expected it to be. I missed my parents a lot and the other thing i was missing was Alex... He has been such a blessing this term.. Everytime I was having a bad day he would encourage me.. Whatever the case may be he was there with open ears and a warm heart. He is so good to me.

God has worked in me and through me more since coming here. I have reached out to more people than i have ever in my life. Just being in a tight community really makes it hard to be secluded from anyone. I try to be as open to meeting people as possible. So far it's worked. I've met a ton of really cool people who are on FIRE for God! It encourages me everyday, when i walk into the "caff" for breakfast and see tables with people all around with their bibles out. And CHAPEL! I came from growing up in public schools so chapel is the greatest thing ever. We have chapel on Wednesdays and Fridays, Chapel takes a break between my classes and redirects my attention on Christ.. through worship! It's so nice to relax, and open the Word, and sing praises to God.
