2012 The New Year

2011 Brought Many Many wonderful things for Alex and I. A few noteworthy ones were
Alex Graduating!!!!
Our Wedding!!
And Alex getting Promoted to Captain
Alex passing is paramedic

I know I wasn't very diligent in keeping up on these posts to let you know about all of this going on but I guess now is better than never.
You already know about the Wedding and Alex Grduating but maybe not about Alex getting promoted or passing his paramedic.

Jacksonville decided back in April to switch Alex's position from a 40 hour a week position to a shift captain position, which means Alex is acting in capacity as a Captain. Pretty exciting news. But he won't officially be a captain until this June 2012 when they test for it again. He will do great!!!!
In December Alex went to Roseville California to test for his Paramedic cert and he passed!! He was soo nervous that he wouldn't do very good. It was hard for me to take off work so he went with some classmates, I never like being without him in conditions where he doesn't feel confident, but I was creative with my encouragement ;)
So now Alex just has one more test to take for the state and then he will be completely done!!! Completely!! And he can start testing for positions that require fire-medics. Which will allow him to do WAY more and also get paid a little more.

As for our little family, we are very content in our 2 bedroom Condo, and we would love a dog but are waiting until we have a little more room because we want more than anything a husky, and for anyone that knows anything about huskys know they are big and shed a ton!!



We are completely in love still, and cannot wait to keep everyone up to date with our lives. We hope to be better inion this new year!
