As you lay asleep in your crib on this cold December morning I wanted to share with you just how much I love you. Your daddy and I love you so very much and would do anything to keep you safe and healthy. I pray to always show you love even in times when you don't want it and to give you peace and comfort in our arms, knowing we will keep you safe from anything and anyone (even if it's just the boogeyman in the closet). You are far to precious to us, we are holding you even closer and tighter.

As you may now know on December 14th 2012 there was a school shooting. A man killed 20 innocent precious children and 6 adults before taking his own life. Those innocent kids before they passed away witnessed something I pray you never ever have to see. Those precious children and their teachers are now living with their heavenly Father, they will never ever have to see or be a part of anything evil again. To think of the parents who lost their child have no comfort, they cannot imagine they died peacefully and that their last minutes on this earth were filled with people around them showing just how much they were loved, but was filled with something unimaginable. For those teachers who gave their lives to protect dozens more children they will forever be my heroes. 

I hope that as you grow older you become aware of just how quickly life can change. I know we will have our good days and bad, but I hope that through it all we can always express just how much we love each other. I never want you to question my love for you. When you came into this world my world changed. I no longer matter anymore, your needs and wants will forever till the day I go to heaven be before my own. You are my world and I PRAY that I NEVER have to see you die. Just know that through all of this, whatever happens in life, we will be together soon, and we will be together for all eternity. Hold that close to you my love.
