Between our busy schedules we have found plenty of time to just be HOME!
I mentioned a few posts back that we got a new couch and it's here and it's beautiful. I am absolutely in love and hope it holds up like our last one did. These girls are hard on their furniture, but we have got some major rules laid out.
We still need to find some more furniture but we aren't rushing we are waiting until we find exactly what we want. You know how that goes ;)
The other day it was sunny and in the 60's so we parked it up and had a blast. It's been a while since we could wear light jackets to the park and enjoy the sunshine on our faces. There were so many kids at the park and I dont blame their parents everyone had the same idea. It was super fun.
After Lucy's ballet recital Alex and I rushed off to his awards banquet. It was a jam packed night for sure! We had so much fun getting to chat with everyone from the department. Always a great group of people. This year they brought in a guest speaker and he was hilarious, so fun to listen to. After the speeches and awards they always hire a DJ and he is always hilarious. So we danced for a bit and blew out our ear drums and then went home and passed out ;) 11 is way past our bed time.
I linked my dress incase you are interested. I have been eyeing this dress for a very long time. I pinned it on pinterest about 6 months ago not even thinking I could possibly find it, and lucky me I did in all it's glory. The website was holding a 30% off sale so I snagged it. Keep an eye out for it.
