We are definitely still pregnant and at times I am so exhausted from the constant contractions and then on the flip side I am wanting to soak up every last week of this pregnancy. We have had quite a few rough days recently with lots and lots of contractions that leave me feeling pretty darn exhausted. I am trying to keep my head up but some days are just too hard.
Last night I was in so much pain from the contractions I was really hoping this was it. Then I instantly felt guilt knowing he needs to stay put so he can grow the way he needs to. This is the story of my life I go from wanting to be in labor to wanting to keep him in as long as possible. Such a mix of emotions. I was doing lots of research about 33 & 34 week babies and how much help they possibly and most likely need and it was breaking my heart. It was breaking my heart that I am not doing anything to start these contractions and they just have a hard time going away. I try to get out of the house every once in a while to cheer me up, sometimes just laying low counting contractions gets a little depressing.
With that being said it's ridiculously hot out where we live this week. like 109. no thank you. So staying inside working on the nursery and organizing the house here and there is soothing enough compared to getting out in this heat.
This week we started really working on the nursery and I am loving how it is turning out. Still have a few more things to do and buy but for now I am completely satisfied with how it is turning out and ready to bring him home to it.
Still so much to do and organize but we are definitely making progress
not so great quality because well it was sunset and beautiful but not so great timing to take a photo. YET, we documented the bump :) that's all that matters.
How far along: 33 Weeks
Total weight gain: 20 pounds.
Maternity clothes: nothing yet!
Stretch marks: Just what I've had from the past. I've been using honest belly balm morning and night. The veins around my belly button are scaring me so I have been slathering on the cream like it's my job.
Sleep: definitely not sleeping well AT ALL, contractions mixed with just being uncomfortable and that late pregnancy insomnia :)
