Easter Weekend

What a beautiful, perfect weekend to celebrate our Savior who died on the cross for our sins. I am so thankful for this weekend and what a beautiful reminder it is to our faith. So thankful to take a step back and remember and feel just what he did for us.

We were able to spend Easter weekend together. My heart was full :) Saturday we spent most of the morning at a local egg hunt. It was so much fun. The kids all had a blast. We went with the girls' good friends jasper and Xavier. There were three adults and 5 kids, one was accounted for at all times but it got crazy for a second when all the kids ran in the center, I was very thankful I put Lucy in a BRIGHT pink coat and Ellie in a bright yellow dress they were somewhat easy to spot but it took a little bit and it was scary for a few minutes.

This photo with the three of them just kills me!

Saturday evening we BBQ'd outback and it was such a perfect afternoon. We literally spent all evening and afternoon outside. So lovely!

Sunday we woke up and the girls found their easter baskets. We then got ready because getting 5 people out the door dressed to church is crazy ;) We were able to make great timing! I saw these trees along this adorable fence and couldn't help but stop and snap a few photos ;)

I love when I get to be with him just us! It's a treat and even more when we get to worship and listen to the word.

After church we went to Alex's parents house where the girls had a little egg hunt. They were so cute about it. I loved watching them hunt for eggs when there wasn't 900 other kids (and that's not an exaggeration).

Such a blessed wonderful uplifting weekend together. I am looking forward to this week and celebrating Alex's birthday and some fun plans!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
