Over the weekend we wanted to go to one more pumpkin patch. We hadn't been to the only one in our valley who offers pony rides. The girls just LOOOOOVE it and get so excited every year when we tell them that's where we are going. Lucy jumped up and down for such a long time so giddy and excited to ride a horse! It's her absolute favorite part of fall :)
It was rainy and super muddy but it made for a less crowded pumpkin patch and felt a lot like how it should feel at a pumpkin patch in the fall. I personally love the rainy cold weather. Putting on layers and bundling up to go out then coming home and sitting by the fire warming up with some hot chocolate ;) there's nothing better truly. This time of year is just the best.
Liam is days away from walking, we think ;) and he was trying to take some steps near all the pumpkins but then kept falling and playing in the mud. The girls wanted desperately to get their faces painted so we did that and Lucy still has hers on her face at school this morning. Safe to say they had the time of their lives. I love how simple things can bring out the most joy for them.
