This is at such a fun stage right now. She understands how to do a lot of things and can do a lot of things but the one thing she would do anything to do she hasn't mastered. I dont know about you mamas and your little ones but Lucy gets SOOOOOOOO upset that she can't crawl. I always help her out because shes screaming ;)I know this phase will probably be short and she will figure out how to crawl and this will be the last of our worries.
Any tips from you mamas are always welcome ;)
Here is a little weekend recap (3 days late..)
We went to an event our city was putting on called Battle of the Bones it is basically beer and BBQ they have a battle of who has the best ribs or beer as well as bands playing all sorts of fun music. We really enjoyed it, except it was WAYYYY to hot for this little one (notice her cheeks are super rosy) We didn't stay too long unfortunately. But we did have fun!
When we got home from Battle of the Bones Lucy was in nothing but a diaper to try to get her to cool off. She kept crawling all over the place and hubby snapped this picture and it was cracking me up, she was literally doing pushups ;)
Every once in a while we get a grumpy day she's had more of those lately! We started watching a movie on netflix since she was fighting her nap and this is what happened maybe 6 minutes into the movie. The question is.. do I lay her down or take advantage of the sweet snuggles. {I totally took advantage}
She is getting so crazy with her crawling moves.. You would think by now she could coordinate moving her arms and legs to crawl..
She found out how to stand in her crib. Luckily we had already lowered her crib
Honestly, just let her get frustrated. I know it's hard but she will figure it out :) if not, that's okay too, some babies never crawl. She is so darn precious- I could just eat her up!! Have a fabulous week Sadie & Lucy!
ReplyDeleteOh and a quick question! I noticed at the top that you have a page where you were selling Lucy's clothes. Have you started that/ are you going to? I would be all over her threads if you decide to!! I'm always looking for deals... especially now with Matt's arm situation :)

Thanks for the advice. I have always ran to her rescue so I think it will be hard to let her figure it out, but I am ready for her to ;) and both my brothers never crawled they just walked.. My mom said it was horrible lol And thank you love wish we all lived closer so we could have long play dates with the girls.. Oh and HAPPY 9 Months Claire!!

She is such a sweetie pie! Crawling is so much fun! We have a mover, and hes QUICK too!
