SUMMER is officially here, the weather is AHMAZING school is out {not that, that means anything for me} and dream vacations are being planned...
Why is it that when summer time rolls around I am dying to go somewhere? Anyone else feel that way? I mean like St. Lucia, Europe, Cabo, Hawaii, Costa Rica.. to name a few! On our way out of Costco the other day I picked up a travel brochure just for kicks and giggles and basically whined the whole way home wanting to go somewhere ;) Pinterest doesn't help either!
ANYWAY...
It has been in the high 90's here so water parks and pools are top priority
My dearest friend Amanda brought her 3 day old little boy Hunter out for all the summer festivities ;)
She is such a rock star.. 3 days later I was still getting my sea legs back :)
To be displayed at their wedding ;) They are so sweet together! This is Amanda's other little boy Griffin who is almost 3!
THEN!! This photo happened and nearly melted my heart completely..
AND THEN... This sweet girl decided to pull herself up.. the picture is LOW quality but the face is priceless
We were sitting around the house on Friday and I look over at Lucy and she is pulling her dress over her face and then dropping it down and pulling her dress up and dropping it down.. she looked SO BORED... time to go see Dad ;)
So we went to his new station for the first time and what great luck he wasn't on a call :)
Came home and IMMEDIATELY got in the pool!
Saturday Morning
SOMEONE Lucy decided to wake up at 5:00 am {insert cartoons STAT}
So we decided to read some good stories to our friends while mama woke up!
We spent the whole day on Saturday in Ashland a FUN little town near where I live. Super good food, and shopping ;) Lucy was seriously a SHOW STOPPER every single person stopped to comment on how cute she was.. TOTALLY made my day.
Going out to eat with an 8 month old.. toys, puffs and maybe more food :)
We had a BBQ at my parents after we got back from Ashland and looked over to see Lucy feeding my parents dog food!!
Played a VERRRRRY Intense game of Badminton
my mom and hubs verse my dad and I.. WE WON! My mom looks like a human stick figure.. Shes the greatest.. LOVE YOU MAMA!! xoxo
Going to church this morning Lucy was happy as a clam!
Put her in the nursery and was talking to a friend, turned around one more time before saying goodbye {for the hundredth time} and found a stinky little boy stealing her snacks.. took everything within me not to hurdle the gate and snatch them out of his hands.. ;)
Watchin DADDA play Frisbee she was BANGING on the windows until he looked at her! Cutest thing ever.
AND.... Crawling.. Any day.. Maybe.. ;)
SORRRRRRRRY for the overload but this weekend was too fun not to document. I know when she's older she will love looking back on this!
