I swear this post does not want to be written. Every time I sit down to write all about Lucy's 11 months something pops up and I have to attend to it. As of now, I am sitting down got all comfy and ready to blog and I hear chattering through the monitor. Such is life at this stage ;)
I am super excited to write this post because so much has changed.
What is new this month: Lucy talks all the time, she is saying dada, HI, lalaaaa (not sure but she says it all day long), duck and that's about it for actual words. She is taking steps not quite walking but she will walk with us if we hold her hands. Both times that we were at church the past few weekends she has taken the most steps. we are up to 5. She is really understanding how her toys work, and getting too smart for her own britches. She gets into every cubbard that she possibly can (and breaks all of mom's most expensive makeup), she understands the word no and obeys, she loves watching a cartoon here and there, loves her daddy, she rides in her big girl car seat, she loves dogs, LOVES baths, loves life for the most part.
What is she eating: Lucy eats pretty much anything. She eats dinner with us and always loves a good meal. This girl was born to eat meat, any form of meat we make she inhales it. She loves pasta, quesadilla's, hamburger, taco's, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, fruit, macaroni, rice cakes, pumpkin bread.
How is she sleeping: Lucy takes 2 naps a day still and then goes to bed around 7:00 and wakes up at 7:00 am. It is such a treat. She would wake up throughout the night when she was teething, and it carried over even when she wasn't teething. We decided to just let her cry it out. The first night was the hardest and then from there it got better and better.
This girl is SUCH a HAM!! Whenever we go out to eat or run errands she is making sure she has everyones complete attention. Even people who you can tell are in a bad mood give her the sweetest of smiles and interact with her. I don't know how you couldn't :)
