After a full night of sleep, thanks to our amazing daughter! Friday Morning started out with breakfast at the hotel and my hubby told me not to get TOOO full. I wasn't sure what he was talking about I was starving ;) He loaded us up in the car and drove by Starbucks and got us hot chocolate and some goodies and pulled up to the beautiful Tiffany & Co. I was soo happy he remembered that's what I wanted to do. He's the sweetest. We got our rings cleaned.. because it's been FOREVER!! Literally like 2 years. Our rings looked brand new!! I also tried on a ring I've been drooling over ;)
We did some more shopping after we went to Tiffany's like Kate Spade and H&M all the stores that are no where near where we live. We also went to Lunch with Alex's family. I had to leave early to get Lucy back to the hotel for a nap. When I got back to the Hotel Lucy was out cold so I very carefully got her out of her car seat and carried her to the door swiped my card and it kept rejecting it. I was starting to get super confused/angry I had to walk all the way around to the front of the hotel and the ladies said that somehow we were accidentally checked out???? SO needless to say Lucy was wide awake by now.. and that was the shortest nap EVER! ;)
Once Lucy took a good nap (finally) we loaded her up again and took her to Build a Bear. I am soo bummed to say that my phone died so I was unable to capture any pictures of her loving every minute of picking out her favorite stuffed animals. At one point I am pretty sure she had 6 different animals in her hands. She had a mini panic attack when we had to give the reindeer she picked out to the lady to fill him.
SATURDAY was the day of the wedding. We started the day with breakfast and then headed up to the room to get ready since the wedding was at 10:30 and we had to have our bags packed and loaded in the car to head to the airport after the wedding.
I forgot to mention there was a TON of snow that fell overnight. So I felt super unprepared because Lucy's outfit was missing a little cardigan and her shoes that I left at home.. So she wore her chucks to the wedding with no cardigan. Luckily it was warm inside.
The wedding was BEAUTIFUL it was held at the Franklin Conservatory. It was filled with poinsettias and Christmas trees. The wedding itself was just gorgeous, the Bride and Groom couldn't have looked happier. It was truly a wonderful day filled with Love.
I was on baby duty during the wedding and well we didn't get to sit in for much of the wedding. Lucy wanted to explore.. and I don't blame her!! We managed to sneak back in for the kiss and watching them walk out as Mr. & Mrs. We then managed to snap a picture of the 3 of us ;)
Hubby gave me a little break during the reception and took over on baby duty. Lucy was OBSESSED with the water fountain, and had like 500 tantrums when I would pull her away. Daddy lets her play in it ;) Right after I snapped this picture she was like a split second away from plunging right into the fountain.
Doesn't Alex look soo handsome?? :)
Hubby gave her this sign and I about died when I read it ;)
We left the wedding early to catch our flight home. We arrived to airport went through security and got some food just in time to start boarding our plane when they announced the flight had to be cancelled due to the pilot flying too many hours prior to arriving so the plane was grounded until morning.. So they gave us a voucher for hotel and food. We weren't complaining. We got another day for free!! ;) We went to dinner and then went shopping. It was pretty fun ;)
