Makeup Essentials

It's no secret that new mom's have little to no time to get ready. Between nursing E and getting Lucy dressed and making sure the diaper bag is packed for the outing usually leaves me either skipping out on putting on makeup and grabbing HUGE sunglasses to cover my face or applying the last of it in the car. I am not a fan of either of those options, although I will take it if that's all I've got ;)

With that said I have invested in some products that I absolutely love, and makes getting ready in the morning a BREEZE. It takes me maybe 15 minutes total to apply makeup and do my hair. Totally worth all the extra $$ I spent on some products. I am usually not the type to spend a lot of money on makeup. 9 times out of 10 you can find me scouting out the target makeup section ;)

The naked eye palette is a MUST for me, I chose the very first one they came out with over the 2nd one at the time because I felt like the colors were softer and went with my complexion better. I am loving the 3rd one that came out a few months ago. Once I wear this one down a little I will most likely upgrade to that one. Naked2 and Naked3

Urban Decay also has a blush, highlighter & bronzer compact here that I have LOVED for forever. It has been on repeat in my makeup drawer. It's perfect all in one application makes for a speedy yet beautiful finish.

My favorite an go to highlighter has been the MAC Mineralized Skinfinish It is so soft on your skin and gives you that glowing look that we all CRAVE! It's priced perfectly and lasts you a good 6 months if you use it like I do ;)

I posted on the Smashbox Camera Ready BB cream on my hopsital bag post which you can find here I am addicted to this stuff and do not go a day without applying it. Since I have such fair skin it is crucial that I apply sunscreen everyday twice a day. This is a nice way to make sure I apply with 35 SPF and a perfect tint that gives your face an all around even color. Perfect for the new mom ;)

Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer is a MUST for new moms. With little to no sleep the bags under our poor little tired eyes make themselves very noticeable. I swear by this stuff and have my mom hooked as well. It's soft to apply and doesn't leave lines or that caked on look. Worth every penny.

I have posted a few times on the Marc Jacobs Perfume I cannot give them enough praise. They are perfect for the diaper bag as well as giving you options for 3 different perfumes. I am big on variation, usually if I buy a full size perfume it wont get finished because I usually buy another one. These are great if you're like me.

Lips, Lips LIPS when I do not apply lip gloss, lipstick or even chapstick I feel unfinished and flushed. You don't need to be completely done up to wear lipstick or gloss in fact it can make you look more put together than you actually are. My go to Chanel Lipstick & Chanel Lipgloss are worth every penny. They do not get flaky or sticky on my lips. I can apply and wont have to reapply for a few hours. Totally worth it for me!

Mascara.. you can find it at target ;) Cheapest kind they make but works the best on my lashes. I have tried the most expensive kinds and they do not work as well as the cheap drugstore kind. That's just my opinion ;)
