We were over the moon to celebrate our first holiday as a family of 4. What a better holiday than Easter. We had high hopes of making it to church for the first time since having Ellenah. We woke up at 6:00 yes you heard me 6 am to start getting ready to head out the door for church around 8:30 am. We made it, it was a miracle we got to church right at 9 when it starts. Luckily my In-laws saved us seats because there were no seats open and the overflow was also full. It was nice to be able to sit in the service for a little bit. Lucy went to the nursery and loved EVERY minute which was such a relief. I peeked on her before I fed Ellenah and she was playing her little heart out.
After church Lucy as always fell asleep on the way home, so we took a little longer drive home and then ate some lunch. After lunch we headed up to my in-laws for a late lunch which was so yummy. Lucy once again played her heart out. She loves going up there and playing with all the new toys, oh and her grandparents and uncle ;)
Recap Of the Easter Egg Hunt
Well it started off great, Lucy was chomping at the bits to get her hands on all the eggs on the grass. Once it was time for the Easter Egg Hunt to start they thought it was a good idea to let the "Easter Bunny" kick off the hunt officially freaking out and traumatizing every 0-2 year old in the group. They were all screaming and clinging to their parents.. well played. So she wanted NOTHING to do with the easter eggs and bawled her little eyes out. We did manage to throw a few (5) eggs in her basket so she could play with later. She was happy once she was a good 900 yards away from the Easter Bunny.
The moment all the kids lost it...
Thought I would start the recap off with a little throw back to when I was a little girl :)
Too early for photos ;) But we are all ready and out the door and on time for church, it needed to be documented!
After church YEAH the kids are both asleep while we wait for an hour to get out of the parking lot ;)
Love this girl, both of us looking and smiling.. MIRACLE
