Every weekend in October we try to make it to a pumpkin patch, we have quite a few around our valley. It is something fun to do for the whole family, as well as going with different family members and friends. Every time we go we bring home something whether it is a small pumpkin or caramel apples or face paintings, whatever the case may be we try to do it all ;) I know I am sure you are sick of seeing my weekly pumpkin patch posts. Lucy just loves going to the PP she loves all the animals & the festivities. Last year we tried the pony rides & it was a major fail. This year we tried again and waiting in the line was painful but once we finally were able to ride the pony the wait was worth it. She lit up, she just talked the entire time she was on the pony. She would jabber on about who knows what and then in the middle of the jabber say. HI horsey. Melted my heart.
We went TWICE this weekend. We probably should have done other things like grocery shop and clean the house, but the pumpkin patch is definitely way more fun.
Ellie even got in on the festivities, for a short second.
Not much has changed in a year, but this girl has gotten WAY bigger. Same pumpkin patch, different play horse ;)
The second time we went, we went with our very best friends. It was their first trip to the pp patch this season since they just had their sweet boy William two weeks ago. They rocked it better than we did with two kiddos. They are natural parents of two.
Sunday night we went for our nightly walk after dinner, it's my absolute favorite thing. It's usually goofy and fun.
Those eyes kill me
Saturday we spent at my parents house. My brother his wife and kiddos were in town. I just love getting to spend time with my niece and nephew. The girls LOVE playing together. The leaves in the backyard were perfect. They played HARD all afternoon.
Lucy is OBSESSED with ring around the rosie. We play it all day. So finding someone new to play it with her is pretty mind blowing.
By the way isn't this dress of Lucy's beyond adorable? My mother in law made it for her. I am going to try to make another one, it is so fun picking out fabric!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend. We are sick over here. So we wont be up to a whole lot this week. Trying to get better as quickly as we can. Happy Monday
xoxo

We needed a good family photo.. so we decided to prop the camera up on a pumpkin and set a timer. Disclaimer people will stare at you like you are zombies or something while doing this.. :)
