Our week flew by. I cannot believe that it's already Saturday. I hope you all are busy at the pumpkin patches and drinking yummy cider and eating pumpkin everything like we are. We will be hitting up another local pumpkin patch tomorrow, they have all the festivities on the weekends. Makes the weekends THAT much more fun. It's just the girls today so we will be doing fun stuff around the house. I picked up the foam pumpkins and fall stickers set from target and Lucy has been LOOOOVING it, more on that later.
SO this week started out incredible. My best friend was due any minute to have her baby, so I didn't take any chances and on monday I stayed the night at my parents house incase she went into labor over night.. she did!!!!! SO I left my parents house at 10 and rushed to the hospital. She was progressing really fast and then slowed down quite a bit. She labored all through the night and she was able to sleep a little bit, we all were trying. She rocked her labor, I have so much respect for her, I am so proud of her and her strength and endurance. He arrived at 6:02 am at a healthy 9 lbs 5 ounces. He is THE cutest thing in the world.
I was able to go back later that evening and hold him and snuggle him a little bit. I am so in love. He is the SWEETEST!! Congrats Naomi & Daniel you guys have the most beautiful family.
After a FULL Nights rest for me, I felt energized to make the family pumpkin pancakes. We had a trail mix filled with all sorts of yummy stuff, I felt that the dried papaya worked as a perfect stem for the top of her pancakes. Lucy went nuts over it. This was her second pumpkin pancake, and she wasn't slowing down ;)
Wednesday found me at the Chiropractor. I have NEVER been. I played 16 years of soccer and well I knew I needed to go because I've had some major lower back and neck pain lately. It got way worse with my pregnancy with Ellenah. They took a measurement of the nerves and muscles surrounding my spine, and well the left side is what it's suppose to be and the right side is what I am. He compared my spine to someone who had just been in a severe car accident. YIKES! Looks like you know what I will be doing for the next few weeks ;)
Lucy has been so good at sharing these days. Although she wasn't too happy about sharing these pumpkins I found in the dollar section at target. She got a HUGE smile on her face and I was like awh how sweet she's going to share and she's enjoying herself.. Nope, she was laughing at putting a pumpkin on Ellenah's head :)
It was international baby wearing week.. so I tried to wear her as much as possible, even though that's usually the case from week to week. I love love love wearing her.
That's pretty much it for us this week. I look forward to seeing all the pictures of pumpkins and pumpkin patches this weekend on IG. Makes me so happy!!
Enjoy your weekend loves! xoxo
