Sunday found us at the pumpkin patch again. We like to go every weekend in October. We have quite a few fun pumpkin patches around our little valley so we can usually hit up one a weekend and experience something new each time. Makes it super fun for us and WAY fun for Lucy. This year has been so much fun with Lucy. Everything is just mind blowing for her. She gets so excited.
This duo never gets old, I love watching them together. She absolutely LOVES her daddy. Wants everything to do with him. When he has Ellenah she makes sure to find ways to still get all his attention. Absolutely melts my heart. This row of flowers was beautiful but Lucy is OBSESSED with flowers and wanted to pick them all, how we got her to keep walking, is still a mystery.
The one thing I always love doing with Lucy is taking her on the wagon ride around the pumpkin patch. The hardest part was waiting in the line. She did NOT understand why she couldn't just hop on the ride and go. Once we finally were able to go she was ALL smiles. She talked the whole time, over the announcer. Everyone was laughing and she would crack herself up. Ellie is really into pulling Lucy's pigtails out, which is what she was going for here. You can imagine that goes over really well :)
Ellie found her pumpkin. The sweetest little thing out there that's for sure. Lucy kept finding the cracked open bug infested pumpkins and sticking her hand in it.. gross. Whole bottle of hand sanitizer done. She also LOVED forming a collection of acorns and giving them to either of us. We would throw them down as soon as she looked away. She could have done that for hours.
Ellenah was pretty unimpressed with the pumpkin patch ;) Next year both of them will be running around. I can't wait for that.
I have to note, Lucy absolutely hates getting her picture taken, so usually she is yelling NO NO NO when we take pictures so we have to be quick and sneaky when we take them. My hubby keeps capturing these ones and they melt my heart. I know I am going to love them even more when they are all grown.
Going to be real here for a moment. To be honest this is what I looked like 99% of the time. Chasing after Lucy trying to get her to understand we have to wait our turn. Teaching a two year old to wait in lines, is no joke. Poor thing. We definitely learned some lessons with this trip to the pumpkin patch and we will be bringing them with us next time we go :)
