Date Night Ideas

I know all you wives out there can relate. Date Nights are incredibly important. The last three years we were terrible at regular dates. We didn't have a regular sitter and we only went out on dates for special occasions. Once we started going on a date every other week we saw improvement on every level in our marriage. It is so important for us to get quality time as it is my love language.

I wanted to share with you a few ideas we have for our date nights.
We try to keep it fun, upbeat and entertaining.

Learn to dance together - we have a ballroom locally that teaches different types of dance throughout the week. We tried rumba a few weeks ago and it was so much fun.

Visit local wineries or pubs - our local wineries during the summer and even winter months have live music and food trucks lined up. It makes for a very fun and romantic setting.

Playing Board Games with friends - we had some friends over a few weeks ago and played a few board games and made some yummy drinks on the patio while the girls were down for the night. It was so much fun and totally low key.

Rent Bikes - we haven't invested in the family bikes yet. It's on the radar. You can rent bikes and bike around the city grab dinner and bike back. The fall like weather will make it super romantic.

Crash A wedding - There are weddings at all our local wineries all the time in the summer. Just slide in casually and dance the night away. We did this on our trip to Cabo. We slid in and danced to all their fun music. There's nothing like dancing at weddings.

Karaoke - I love to sing and well I've never done Karaoke. I am honestly really wanting to have a date night and do some karaoke. Maybe I am not quite ready for it but it sounds like fun.

The aftermath of our game night with friends

Hoping that video works. After this video we marched right up those steps and joined the party. We blended in ;)
