I honestly have lost track of where exactly I am at in my 28 weeks. I go to the doctor tomorrow and I will have a better understanding of where I am at. I thought by now in the pregnancy you go a little more frequently but I haven't been in about a month in a half so I am a little behind, maybe they let things slide a little on your third ;)
This week has been good but tough. I have been dealing with contractions and braxton hicks. The contractions I have are usually towards the end of the day and come with gnarly back pain that is pretty painful. Usually has me in the bath taking Tylenol and pounding the water to try to relieve pain. But it is what it is and I will go through it knowing our little guy is cooking safely.
Other than braxton hicks and contractions all day I have been feeling surprisingly good. Sleep isn't awesome but last night I wedged a pillow under my lower back and another one under my belly.. I know you can totally laugh but I slept like I hadn't slept in years. SO SO good. So I will most likely be doing that from here on out. I have never bought a pregnancy pillow but would love to hear if any of you have and if it's worth it.
Last week I was suppose to have my usual appointment with my glucose test but LAST LAST minute my doc had an emergency so we had to reschedule. Nothing like fasting all morning to be told sorry we need to re-schedule. I bought a LARGE smoothie on my way home ;) I am pretty worried actually about it and have never taken the glucose test but I am hopeful I can pass it so we can move forward without any complications in this pregnancy.
How far along: 28+ Weeks
Total weight gain: 18 pounds.
Maternity clothes: nothing yet!
Stretch marks: Just what I've had from the past. I've been using honest belly balm morning and night. The veins around my belly button are scaring me so I have been slathering on the cream like it's my job.
Sleep: As mentioned it's OK. I hope this new pillow trick will work.
Best moment of this week: We had a great week in sunriver, In baby terms love seeing all his new little things we've ordered him arriving.
Miss anything: I feel huge so I definitely miss having my usual body being able to chase after the girls with my full energy and ability.
Movement:He moves like crazy, like fireworks going off at all times ;)
