We had such a busy weekend with the regular weekend festivities and the 4th of July thrown together. My brothers were in town and that was so much fun. We did a whole lot of eating yummy food and a whole lot of swimming over the weekend.
Thursday we celebrated my sweet friends 30th birthday. She is such a gem and we have grown closer over the last couple years since becoming neighbors. It was an honor to get to celebrate her, and her party was beyond stunning just like her. I loved getting to get dressed up with the hubs for an event.
Friday we did this.. all day long, and saturday and sunday and monday :)
Sunday the girls decorated the bike for the 4th of July and we took it for a little test ride around the neighborhood :) Lucy was so proud of her decorating it was the cutest to watch.
We have been loving all the fresh fruit that's available right now, we try to buy as fresh as possible from the weekly farmers markets but sometimes (most of the time) we end up with a cart full from costco. We love fruit around here and I love that my girls will munch on it all day long, so much better than sugary snacks. Watermelon is mostly water so I feel like I am keeping them a little extra hydrated ;)
My niece and Lucy were loving the fireworks especially the sparklers.
anyone else felt like this weekend consisted of a whole lot of baby wrangling ;) How I feel most days go. Lately the girls have been a little extra wild in grocery stores or even target (when I dont bribe them with popcorn). I feel like I am constantly chasing down a hand to grab before they dart into the parking lot :)
My mom found the perfect filter and the rest was history.
If you follow me on snapchat (sadiecummings) you've already seen this. The girls have been waking up between 6-6:30 every morning, I am getting use to it slowly but man is it tough especially if I stay up late watching a movie. #momtime
Such a random thrown together post but wanted to share just a few things from the weekend and week that I had missed. Loved having my siblings in town and niece and now we are just recovering from the weekend (still) and cleaning my house which has been long overdue.
