Random December Snapshots

December is flying by I swear I was just writing out our Thanksgiving post. Oh wait I was. My computer took a MAJOR dive and I have had the worst time finding ways to blog. Turns out I have to do it in the most annoying and slow way so when I have a minute of down time I load everything up and spend the time writing posts which I love.

So here we go. A little Random post about December so far.

December has been a SUPER fun SUPER busy month for us. Filled with a few weeks of sickness which wasn't fun but a ton of funness (yup I said that). We picked a name off a tree at Lucy's preschool of a little girl who needed presents this Christmas. The girls had so much fun shopping for her. She wanted board books and light up toys and we were able to get her her wishes. We loaded her up with our favorite board books the Baby Lit series. I was so bummed we couldn't wrap the gift for her but we tied ribbon around it and the girls had a blast carrying in the gifts to put under the tree. They were so concerned that she wouldn't get her gifts, it was so sweet to see.

All the attitude

We almost missed Lucy's schools christmas party. For some reason they decided not to do a Christmas performance which I was REALLLLLLLY upset about. But they threw a christmas party in it's place. Well it so happened to fall on a day Alex was on shift of course and I completely forgot about it. Alex called and asked how it went and I instantly panicked. There was still an hour left so we jumped in the car and headed to her school.

*a little back story over the course of this event I was wearing a heart monitor to monitor a few minor issues I have been having and the wires are extremely noticeable and the big ol pack attached to my hip was even more noticeable *

So we were a GIANT hot messs. I tried to find decent outfits for the girls but only limited items were clean which was unfortunate. But we made it. I threw Liam in the solly wrap and the poor guy was loosing it and I couldn't figure out why then I realized his poor head was resting on the little hooks for the monitor. No wonder he was crying. once I adjusted him he passed out again :)

The girls had so much fun making crafts, and being a part of all the festivities they had. Also eating ALL the candy canes they received. They also did a book exchange that was so cute, and they received the cutest little box of goodies and toys. Definitely worth the trip into town because they played with the toys the rest of the day!

The girls got to paint our wrapping paper this year :)

All December long you can find the girls eating Rudolf pancakes :)
