28 Weeks

This week flew by, as you can imagine. I took a double check when I got an alert on my phone that I was 28 weeks, it seemed like it came up way to fast, even though just a week ago I was sitting right here writing this same post, it seems like that was just a few days ago. Funny how that happens when we are super busy.

Aside from our busy week Little E made sure I didn't forget about her. On Tuesday Night I felt her drop pretty low. WAY to low for comfort. I mean I know that will happen but it doesn't happen at 28 weeks. I felt as if she was going to come right out. It was very uncomfortable and of course Alex was at work. 2 Weeks ago we had my OB appointment and everything was GREAT. When I finally got ahold of Alex he reminded me that everything was fine, and to try to get some rest. Well she was awake and punching all night long, and like I said I was ready for my water to break, and her little hand to come right out.. Sorry if that's TMI.. Needless to say when I woke up I called my Dr right away. He for sure wanted to get me in before the holiday weekend so in the middle of buying our home excitement I had all of this on the back of my mind. I went in and he talked with me about everything, and listened to the feelings I was having, he said he has heard this and said its common. He checked and by the grace of God she is right where she needs to be. He said maybe slightly lower than normal for how far along I am. He said since I have a petite frame it will feel like even though the baby is very small, it will feel like she is really really low, and he said he remembered me carrying low with Lucy, which I did. And this is number 2, so the body remembers how to do this whole gig, but to be rest assured she is still sitting on tissue and lots of it! No bed rest, or takin it easy for this mama. I was so thrilled, and carried on from the appointment to fully get excited about our day :)

Apart from ALLLLLLL of that, I am getting super super super super excited to meet her. I can't believe she will be here in just a few months. Time to start stocking up on baby gear, and supplies. I have ideas of what I want, but I feel like I WANT more than I need. I want a few bigger items to make my life easier and those products include the mamaroo by 4moms. I have heard nothing but amazing reviews for this thing. We used a vibrating bouncer for Lucy for many many months and it was a Godsend. So we are more than happy to spend some extra money for it. The double stroller debate... Yes we are going to get one. We are torn between the bumbleride and the bugaboo donkey. Both are spendier.. but this will be the stroller we have for a WHILE and I am thinking the cost per use will be a wash by the time we are all done. My hubby fell in love with both so luckily I didn't have to do much convincing ;) The 4moms pack and play. Once again we have heard MANY wonderful reviews about this guy. So we will be snatching one of these up for both girls to use. I will be doing a big baby haul post on the things we will be purchasing. For the most part we don't really need a whole lot. But I will be putting together a list of items that we will be purchasing for baby girl. Including another camera for our monitor.
