We are 27 Weeks today, and I cannot believe how fast these weeks are going by seems like I have to check each time I post to make sure I am posting about the right week.
I have been thinking lately {which is never a good thing right ;)} how I really want to soak up EVERY last week of this pregnancy. I mean even how uncomfortable I get at times in clothes, sleeping and in life in general. This season of my life is gone in a blink of an eye and it is such a special season. I am trying to embrace the way I look in clothes and accept the fact that I have a belly and I need to dress it properly ;) I have been slacking BIG TIME on styling outfits, I have been super lazy and just throw leggings and an over sized t-shirt on. With that said I took the liberty in talking to my hubby and explaining all of this to him. His response was WAY better than I had expected, he sent me shopping for the afternoon to find some clothes that will better dress my ever growing belly, and keep me feeling good about myself. He totally took my breath away in that moment. Even though I didn't buy anything maternity... I bought things that I felt good in, and things that I knew would make me feel better about myself. Some days that's all we need right?
I have been having these weird feelings as I go to sleep at night. When I lay down in bed I start to feel extremely short of breath and completely restless. I feel like I have to take really deep breaths to catch up and I can feel my heart beating through my chest. It is such a bizarre and uncomfortable feeling, and of course it starts happening after my checkup with my doc. The best way I can tackle this feeling is to try to just let it go away, and to take my mind off of it, sometimes that means sitting up and watching a movie or reading a book and other times it takes actually getting up out of bed! I hope this doesn't happen any more. Its super uncomfortable.
We went to the doctor this week, and everything is smooth sailing. I am totally going to make you all jealous but.. I don't have to do the glucose test since I got pregnant before I turned 24!! {insert 30 second dance party} They said I will for sure with the next but hey 2 for 2 and I haven't had to taste the drink that I hear is AWFUL! He also checked and I am not silently dilating which is a relief especially with all my braxton hicks! We are ready for the long haul until we see sweet baby E!
Don't mind the ugly brown on the floor and walls.. it was the only wall where we were at that was semi white/plain.
