CATCH UP

We JUST today got our Internet hooked up, thank goodness for our phones right ;) With that being said I am looking forward to getting caught up on the blog with what's been going on in our busy busy busy life. I have never felt so busy in my life, I hardly feel like I have enough time to sit down and nurse Ellie, there is always something I NEED to be doing. 

With that being said we are officially all moved into our home! I am over the moon. Words cannot describe how blessed I feel. We are smiling from ear to ear each night when we lay our completely exhausted head on our pillows. Doing fun little projects already to make our home more comfortable. We are so thrilled with everything!! I honestly feel like donating the rest of the boxes in the garage to goodwill because I like my house as it is right now ;) Well.. I still need a few things to complete it

 So here's a little recap ;)

We picked up daddy from work since we had an early doctors appointment. This girl was cracking me up. I asked her what firetrucks do and she did this face with a siren noise :) She's a daddies girl.

This girl had her 2 month appointment and shots. She just wanted to be held the rest of the day, and even a couple days after. No fun at all. Broke my little heart. She is doing fabulous though, growing great and loving life. 

Shared breakfast with Lu in our new house! It was a blessed breakfast conversation for sure.

 Thank the Lord we moved on memorial day weekend, we got such great deals on our appliances. It was quite comical, you've probably all seen the commercial with the two parents going in to buy a new cell service plan and the dad has the baby in the carrier and they are both swaying and whispering, we were literally reinacting them, so I decided to let Alex do the whispering and swayin while I sat on the floor and watched a movie with Lu, Real classy I know. Let me tell you, I am SOOO excited to do laundry in my pretty new washer and dryer, and cook food from my refrigerator, lets hope I keep them clean ;)

Sunday morning while getting ready for church I asked Lucy where Jesus was, and she pointed to her chest. Melted my heart and basically brought me to tears, Best thing in the world.

Monday we went to my in laws and enjoyed a wonderful Memorial Day BBQ it was such a blessed time. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Lucy had such a blast with both sets of grandparents. My dad got up from his chair to get a plate full of chips and sat back down and started talking to my father in law in the mean time Lucy had watched him grab the chips and as he sat down she sat up grabbed all of them and sat back down and my dad went to grab a chip was stunned and thought maybe he dropped them until he heard and saw a little girl giggling and smiling with a huge chip in her mouth ;) Perfect memory.

This girl is the queen of messy hair right now, it is quite afro(ish) I use a paul mitchel spray and comb it nearly 4 times a day, waiting for it to get a little longer so I can pull all of it up. 

SUPER DAD/HUBBY Man oh man do we love urban walls polka dot decals. Although putting them up was not very fun at all. Took pretty much an entire day, but boy was it worth it, cannot wait to share with y'all. 

 We took the girls to the water park, It was a bit windy for the water, Lucy wasn't a huge fan, but she LOVED the park, and walking up {by herself} and sliding down the slide nearly 100 times. A girl who was maybe 3 started cruising past Lucy and lapping her down the slide, Lucy wasn't a huge fan of that, so when Lu got to the top of the slide she sat down and looked back at the girl and jumbled something at her that I imagine was to the tune of BACKOFF :/ oops.. I may have laughed but then quickly told her to be nice. Ellie bell was snug as a bug in her stroller, by the way we are loving our double stroller and all the features and we HIGHLY recommend it, We were able to lay ellenah down almost flat and pull the sunshade all the way down to block sun and wind. HUGE bonus.
