We had a super fun four days together!! Felt like we blinked and it was over. Lucy is getting so independent and smart. As if she could get any more independent ;) She repeats EVERYTHING we say. I can't remember if I mentioned her new sayings "OH MY goodness" (thanks to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) and "honey, you okay" totally melts our heart.
speaking of heart melting, lucy insisted on feeding Ellie she did such a good job holding the bottle, E was so enthralled by her that she had a hard time eating.
We went to our favorite winery and Lucy learned there are lots of yummy grapes at wineries. her sweetness photo bombing our pic and stealing grapes. I'm pretty sure behind my head theres a sign that reads DO NOT PICK GRAPES .. oops

Sunday Pool Day :) we spent most of the afternoon in the pool and it was so refreshing. Im always on lifeguard duty. You wonder where Lucy gets her fearlessness? Her dad. So I have to watch them, make sure he doesn't try to do anything too crazy ;)
That sweet face though. She tried her water wings and they worked but this was easier if we wanted to be more mobile. She loved it either way though. She also loved jumping into the pool 900 times. The girl is beyond fearless.
Sunday was Ellie's 5 Month Birthday. I can hardly contain my little heart from aching as I watch her grow up so very fast. I am in denial that I need to start coaching her on being independent and sit up by herself, and eat, because I don't want her to get big.. more on that on her 5 month post
Monday found us out for a family walk bright and early, and then we decided to continue our walk to the park. We all love parks where Lucy can navigate through the play structure without needing help, we all enjoy it more ;) She is getting so big, that most parks are that way now. Although the first time down a slide that morning found her upside down and falling off the end onto her head, but up she went and ran off.. fearless I tell yah.
Later on monday, we decided to watch a movie, and what better way than with a nice bowl {cup} of popcorn. She was so excited. WORLD = MADE pretty easy to make her super happy these days.
That night we got the girls down, and set up a little date night outside. It was the perfect mix of simplicity and romance. We talked for a little bit as well as sipped on some YUMMY wine. Then danced to some of our favorite songs under the stars and our party lights. SO so so worth being a little tired the morning after. Love my man a whole lot ;)
