Our Weekend - Been A while

I've got a big recap for you ladies and gents this morning. It's been a while since I've sat down to even think about writing a weekend recap or a post about anything ;) So here we go, a lot to catch you up on! Let's start with Halloween. This year both my parents and my in-laws came over since Alex was at work. I get super bummed out when Alex has to work the holidays, and the rest of this year he works all of them :( not cool. But I am so thankful that I have plenty of support around me.

I had planned on Lucy being tinkerbell this year, and Ellie was going to be a fairy, but last minute she wouldn't put on any costume but her Ana costume. So we went as Ana this year. It was hilarious, she literally would not put on a costume, nothing, and the girl wears a princess dress 7 out of the 7 days each week. We finally got it on, and she would NOT take it off after that. She loved trick or treating, and passing out candy at our house. She kept saying we gotta get the door? Gotta get the door? Give kids candy? She was so concerned about the kids not getting candy ;)

These pictures make my heart smile. I had planned this super cute shoot with Ellenah, there was only one problem, she didn't fit, like at all.. ;) I sent this to my husband and he laughed his head off. It was pretty darn cute though.

Sunday we got our hero back, and we ran out the door to the donut shop. It was such a blast. Ellie was grabbing like crazy at the donuts. She had her eyes locked on them. So I had to give her a TINY little bite her eyes lit up.

Saturday Night we went on a date, a smokin hot DATE. Not really, but we had a lot of fun. I am so thankful for my sweet husband, he is thoughtful and funny. We had a window booth at dinner and we were cracking each other up people watching {yeah we are terrible people}. Alex was writing a text during dinner and when he writes texts they take 900 years and I was making this face watching people watch our date as he is on his phone, I was all you are being RUDE, and he laughed and realized how it looked. Oops.

The skirt was a dream. I have had my eyes on this skirt for a while, and finally found it in the right size. Well actually my husband and mom found it. I was so surprised and taken back, to be honest I had tried to make a skirt that was similar to this one and failed terribly. So my sweet husband went on the hunt to find it for me.

I put up a tiny sprinkle of Christmas yesterday. I HATE how the Christmas season fly's by. I love thanksgiving and my table and front door are still decked out for thanksgiving but The gap from Thanksgiving to Christmas is just far to short, so my house is a little bi-polar and gets a little of both for a few months ;)

On October 30th we celebrated 4 years of being engaged. It was a day filled with LOVE

Not the greatest picture of us. But Now and then.

I hope you've had a great holiday weekend
xoxo
