Our Weekend

We had a long anticipated four days with my husband this weekend. I love when his days off falls over a weekend. He's been working more than usual lately and so we had a LOT to do during his four days off. Home Improvement projects, cleaning, winterizing our house you know.. things that take FOREVER! But we had so much fun because we were able to do it all together!!

Friday we went on a family date to pizza by the slice. It was so much fun. Well for about 15 minutes and then Lucy was OVER IT! We haven't gone out to eat as a family in a long time so needless to say we probably wont go out again for a while. We made the most of it though and went shopping around town a little bit before we left. The little town is seriously magical around the holidays.

Saturday was pretty low key, we started the day with Starbucks & Home Depot to get all our home improvement items. We went a little overboard and maybe thought we would get more accomplished than we did ;)

Self Timer FAIL!! But hey we tried right ;) The Home Depot had a great little spot for kiddos to see Santa. It was so cute and so HOME DEPOT lol

Later that day we went on the hunt to try to snap ONE just one good family photo for the Christmas card we will get the perfect one one of these days. Until then I will enjoy all the lovely pictures I get!!

Thanks to Trader Jo's We now have beautiful greenery around our house. The front door is my favorite. Lucy was so excited when she saw it up she yelled CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Monday was spent finishing our errnads before town gets EVEN CRAZIER. Costco was already a nightmare. We got there right at open and it was nuts. I hate being rushed or walking incredibly slow. But least we got everything we needed and we don't have to go near town until next week!!

Yesterday our sweet Ellenah turned 8 months. It completely blows my mind. She is still the SWEETEST thing in the world, and I wouldn't have it any other way. She is soo soo busy. She gets into everything, and she's at that stage where she wants everything she cannot have, you know power cords, wrappers, paper anything. It's a FULL time job ;) But she's too sweet and smells like heaven so I don't mind.

Hope you had a lovely weekend. We are so excited for thanksgiving and to see all our family.

xoxo
