Our weekend was filled with lots of rest, lots of flowers and lots of time with our hero. On friday I went into the doctor to see what exactly was going on with me. It had been a week with a cold and it was only getting worse. Turns out I have bronchitis. So, I started antibiotics and laid low the rest of the day/weekend. My sweet sweet husband was such a superdad over the weekend. He picked up all the slack without a single word.
Saturday I started feeling a little better, but we still just laid low. Lucy picked flowers from my moms house and would not stop carrying them around. They love picking flowers like WAY too much. Everywhere we go they are picking flowers. We have tried to teach them boundaries but they are just way to tempted. Saturday morning we picked up a few grasses to plant outback and moved around some plants in our yard. It's so hard to wait for brand new landscape to look manicured and good but we are making the right steps. The girls are obsessed with their magnets that I've mentioned before. But they also are obsessed with asking me to snap pictures of them randomly it's making my heart burst.
Sunday we spent the morning at church and the afternoon at my parents house. My dad and Alex worked on a big project while us girls hung outside and scooted all around.
Monday was a much anticipated day where Ellie had her first day of Ballet. She was SOOO ready to get out there on the dance floor just like her sister. It was a nice break from trying to hold her back for an hour. Although she still has a little to learn and work on I think she will do just fine : )
As usual just gravitated to the beautiful flowers. We spent the morning today at the library doing toddlerobics and it was so cute. They smiled the entire time. They are both crashed now as they burned quite a bit of energy off. Our local libraries have all sorts of great classes throughout the week and we are determined to make it to one a week. Such a great opportunity for these girls to get social interaction and stimulation.
