Liam's 6 Months

Half a year has come and gone just like that. I remembered thinking about his 6 month birthday and thinking how it would be weeks before Ellie turned 3. Now here we are and life is just as it would seem to be. We are all finally settling into our roles. The girls are settling into being big sisters. I am settling into being a mom of three kiddos as well as balancing being a wife. It did take 6 months to get here but now that we are here I know it's just going to be more and more natural moving forward. There were days where I felt like I just looked like I could never get it together. Whether it was crying kiddos in public or just not having enough hands or time to give everyone what they needed when they needed it. The stress levels over the last 6 months have gone from completely unbearable to natural and chill but lets be honest that happens no matter how many kids you have.

This month for Liam I could tell he really started breaking out of the newborn phase. He started really becoming aware and interested in toys, people and sounds. He started rolling over and rolling and rolling. He started to try to sit up. He found his voice, meaning he would scream talk and jabber.

What He's Doing? He can do a lot now. He can sleep (PRAISE HIM) jabber with sounds, he can roll over from tummy to back and back to tummy (which he does almost instantly). He can sort of sit up on his own he does collapse into two but he's getting better. He loves to grab anything and everything in sight. He loves his baths, he just kicks back and kicks his little feet ever so peacefully in the water. He loves chewing on his hands. He loves watching the girls play, and whenever they bring him into the action always gets the biggest smile on his face.

What He's Eating? He loves his food. He was slow to enjoy solid food but he is a big fan now. He will come after you if you don't have a spoonful of food ready for him. He will also take matters into his own hands if you step away or get distracted and grab the jar and put his mouth on it. So so so funny. He loves sweet potatoes, avocado, chicken, turkey, bananas, green beans, pear you name it really ;)

How He's Sleeping? Liam finally sleeps through the night. He went from waking 2/3 - 6 times a night to sleeping through the entire night. I have a whole post on that and how it happened. I am a firm believer in self soothing and we didn't even have to let him "cry it out" much at all. He goes to bed at 7 and sleeps until 6:30-7

Where He's Going? We have had a pretty low key month lately with all the sickness and just business with the girls schedules but we hope to do some traveling in the upcoming months. He's pretty good in the car so we hope to test it out here soon.

What He's Wearing? He wears 6 month jammies and he is in 6 month clothing. Although I bought 6-9 month jeans the other day and they were as long as he is. He still wears his 0-6 month pants and 3-6 month tops.

Little man you are stealing our hearts more and more every single day. We can't wait to pick you up in the morning and after every nap. You are missed when we are away and our hearts long to be with you. You are so chill and you love just taking it all in. I am so anxious to see your little personality bloom as you continually grow. You are so sweet and calm as can be. We love you so fiercely.
