Hope you ladies had a fabulous weekend in the sun! We sure did! We have been spending lots of time in the pool since it has been SOO hot! Where we live it gets really really hot and dry so finding a pool or lake is essential for surviving summer!
Even though we LOVE the sun and tanning I often forget that Lucy gets really hot really fast. So for her a hat, sunglasses, and tons of sunscreen is a must. Her little cheeks get so rosy when she gets even the least bit hot, poor thing.
When she gets out of the pool I wrap her up in a towel instantly! I remember that feeling and it was always the best. She just sat there with the towel around her, couldn't resist a picture.
On sunday this girl wanted to tell me everything, I promise you she did not stop babbling for about 30 minutes. It was cracking me up. So of course I decided to take advantage.
And this is the only way mama can get ready in the morning to make sure she's not eating my flip flops or random weird things she finds on the floors.
We went outside before bed to enjoy the warm summer weather and I sat her on the grass and she tried so hard to get every body part of the grass. She usually loves it but it was super dry and pokey. It was pretty funny ;)
I am not sure why, but last night it took Lucy 2 hours to go to bed, she was just crying ans screaming and arching her back out of my arms. I was really confused, she had a clean diaper, full belly and even motrin because she's getting her 7th tooth. I believe with all my heart she wanted her daddy.
You better believe our house is getting ready for the 4th. Even though the hubby works we are SUPER excited. Here is a little sneak peak of Lucy's festive little outfit, although this is her back up outfit I think I might like it more than the one I had originally planned on her wearing.
