This weekend really started on thursday with the 4th and then continued on from there.
With the little one crawling all over the place we did a lot of deep cleaning and baby proofing over the weekend. I am so worried we didn't do enough, I am sure you mamas have been there!
Since the hubby {as you know} worked on the 4th. We had a lot of plans for the weekend, a couple dates and some shopping trips and maybe even pool dates. Here is our little recap.
On Saturday we started the day off doing all of our baby proofing since the little one decided she would become an expert and get into everything before we could even come up for air. As we were cleaning and organizing our house I came out to the living room and found her like this..
All of her toys were all over the place but she was in a little corner.. I was laughing so hard.
Lucy's Honest diapers came. We are so thrilled with this company. All they do for our communities around the US is just awesome. And as far as the products themselves the fact that they are biodegradable and completely made without yucky toxins and chemicals that should not be in diapers. We have only had one accident over night where it leaked but only once.

Later that day we went to a good friends sons first birthday. Lucy had a lot of fun, watching all the festivities, eating yummy food and playing with this water table ;)
Later that evening my cousin came over and watch sweet Lu so we could go on another date! Whoo two date nights in a row! We went to movies in the park. It is pretty fun watching all the kids who are filled with sugar and running crazy while the parents shake their head. I don't know if my kids will take part in this anytime soon. The movie doesn't start until a little after 9:00 and we didn't get home until 11:30.. I think towards the end I yawned about a hundred times. The movie was Jurassic Park.. and um.. hello that is not a children's movie esp in a park when its pitch black!! I was on edge the whole time ;)
Sunday we woke up.. feeling pretty tired {we are soo old ;)} but headed to church and little Lu slept almost the whole time which was awesome. She loves seeing the water at church its a weekly thing ;)
My parents invited us over for dinner and we had such a good time. We played in the pool and got to crawl around in the itchy grass.
After that we went to our local frozen yogurt shop. its so dangerous because it is VERRRRRY close to our house.. Too close lol We gave Lucy a little tester and she seriously was TICKED that she couldn't have more.
We got home.. and well even thought the yogurt was sugar free and fat free She was pretty excited ;)
We had such a lovely weekend, any time my husband is on his 4 day Is pretty much time well spent!
This week will be filled with lots of fashion updates shopping for summer and fall. As well as some OOTD's! Next Monday I will be teaming up with some other blogger friends to bring you a fun summer fashion post. Stay tuned ;)
