These hot hot temperatures have our girls running low on water all the time. It is the hardest task getting these girls to stay hydrated. I am a big time ice water fan my water has to be filled to the brim with ice at all times ;) The girls have jumped on my band wagon and love ice water as well.
So next comes the hard part which is keeping the water cold for long periods of time especially for long park days or water park days you name it. It is a challenge. Usually their water cups basically melt in the sunshine with the water. Nuby sent us these insulated stainless steel no spill cups I knew they were just what we needed to keep their water ice cold.
I am pleased to report after MANY months of using this product that we LOVE these cups. The girls prefer them over any and all of our water cups. They are super easy to fill up, clean and store. As a busy mom running these girls all over the place the thing I dislike most about water cups is when they have quite a few parts that need to be put together in order to function or not spill. These are simple and straight to the point not to mention I find them tipped over 99.99% of the time with little to no spill.
We let the girls pick which straw choice they preferred and naturally Lucy liked the Flip It with 360 weighted straw and Ellie loved the simple soft sipper lip. They both hold 7.5 ounces which is a great amount to keep track of how much they are drinking throughout the day. The great thing about Lucy's cup is they can drink from any angle and gets every last drop. Both of these cups keep cool for up to 10 hours and I can HONESTLY say that's true. The girls still have their cool water even when the cups sit in the hot sunshine all afternoon at the park. Both products are BPA free.
