I always seem to have a hard time posting this post on the actual day so it is usually half way through the week. As you've read or seen if you follow along with us on social media we've been running a little busy lately enjoying the sunshine.
So I have some big updates for this week. This week was a crazy one for many reasons. The week prior mentioned to my OB how I was having braxton hicks where I could feel them peaking and come back down. He didn't love the sound of that I think I mentioned it last pregnancy update. So we had an ultrasound yesterday to make sure my cervix wasn't shortening and it's NOT! praise the lord!
On wednesday I had this terrible pain in my pelvic region as well as a dull achy pain in my lower back. I pushed through it all day since Alex was out of town and tried to lay low as best as I could. It had been a busy week and a half of full time kid duty with Alex gone so I was lifting them a whole lot more. I wasn't sure what was causing this pain. I was at my parents house trying to walk around and I had a twinge of pain that brought me to my knees. That happened about every few steps after it happened the first time. I couldn't walk normal. I looked like a crazy person. I hate stuff like this and I hate even more that it happens at night. I ended up going into L&D which I was so mad about. I really hate drawing extra attention to the situation but this seemed to be unbearable and completely un-normal. My OB thinks that it was kidney stones and I am starting to believe him the pain was super bad that afternoon and evening and throughout the night even and then the next morning it was gone. I am thinking I passed a stone that night or first thing in the morning. I have been feeling better ever since. I will be drinking ALL the water from here on out though. I do not want to go down that road again and pray I am not going to get any more.
Other than that pain it was a pretty comfortable week. I slept like a baby from early morning wake up calls and full days in the sun.
A big highlight for me this week was getting to go on a date with my hubby. We had so much fun being together and catching up on our weeks. I always love to when I find a dress and save it especially for a date night ;) and these shoes were ready to go out as well.
