One of my least favorite things about having a newborn is everyone wants to take a peak at the baby. Now I am ALLLLL for that, because I myself love to look at newborn babies they are just so sweet and squishy but I do so from a distance, unless it's a friend and I am all over that baby ;) For some reason since having Liam we have had SO many people get WAY to close and even touch him. I am not confrontational at all and I just instead have little panic attacks going off inside of me. I wanted to find a way to keep Liam covered while he is in his carseat because the swaddle over the top only lasts about 3 seconds before one of the girls rips it off to swaddle one of their babies.
So thankful I came across covered goods. They came highly recommended to me and I totally understand why now. I love that it is a four in one product. It's a carseat cover, nursing cover, shoping cart cover and scarf when you don't need it. While driving around running errands it started raining. The cover made it so nice carrying him from the car to the store without getting drenched, me however, lets say I didn't make eye contact with anyone ;) Through the winter I would definitely say that is such a perk rain, snow, wind or shine blocked from him in a super simple way. I use to put a swaddle over the top of the girls and it would just blow up and essentially just send a gust of wind in their face. This cover is a lifesavor I just throw it on and don't have to worry about it.
The super soft rayon material is nice while breastfeeding it is super breathable so Liam is comfortable while being covered. I can't say we have tried out the shopping cart feature yet but as soon as he can sit up it will be so nice to have for that too, since those things are just covered in germs ;)
I have nothing but great things to say about this product and would definitely say it is A MUST for expecting mamas or mamas with newborns. Worth every penny.
You can shop this cover
They check on him every 2 seconds just to make sure he has his paci.
Covered Goods sent me this cover to review, all the words and opinions are my
