The Long Weekend

We had yet again another jam packed fun filled weekend. Since we are all feeling better (knock on wood it stays that way) we have been hitting the ground running from sun up to sun down. Friday we took it easy, and just relaxed at home!

Saturday was a fun filled day. We started the day at Lucy's soccer game where Alex's mom, dad and brother came to watch as well as some of our close friends we love dearly who were in town. It was fun to see everyone.

After the game we went out to eat and we had so much fun together. Ellie was cracking me up she wore glasses the entire time we were out. She has the cutest little personality. Lucy loves to color so much, I hope this phase never ends, so she was happy with coloring the entire time.

After Lunch we ran home and changed the girls into process dresses so they could go to the Princess & Pirate Ball at the local library. It was so cute they made little tiaras and Liam got a pirate hat and they danced around to music. It was so cute and I love taking advantage of fun social outings like that.

Sunday found us at church and we were so happy to be there. Always so refreshing and encouraging to be able to go together as a family and drop the kids off in their classrooms and have some time with just the two of us to be in the presence of the Lord.

Sunday Afternoon/evening found us at a dodgeball tournament watching Alex and some friends play in a benefit dodgeball tournament. They all were so into it and it was hilarious!! What you can't see in this picture is my husband squeezing into my tiny running shorts. I will save you the picture. We had fun watching them and dancing to music and catching up with friends.

Monday was spent continuing our never ending flooring decision. I swear it's been the HARDEST decision and I am about to throw down dark wood flooring just to be safe and get it over with. I am having the hardest time finding exactly what I want and when I find what I want they either don't have it in stock or they discontinued it... So we will continue searching for the perfect flooring but now the floors have way too high of expectations :) our little third wheel was the cutest and sweetest addition to our little date. I couldn't imagine life without him!

That's our super long weekend in a nutshell and honestly I am quite wiped out! We are back on the runny nose and coughing train so I am praying it all settles before turning into anything!

Cheers to the mondayest Tuesday today ;)
