30 Weeks

30 weeks down 10 to go.. EEEEEK!!!

I am getting super excited to get things organized for baby girls arrival. We have the crib and need to get creative with a dresser/changing station. We have one dresser and I need to figure out a way to use it for both girls ;) This should be interesting. Until we make a trip up to Ikea I will just prep Lucy's dresser with baby girls goodies. Luckily we had a TON of NB size diapers left over from Lucy. I am anxious to organize all of the newborn clothes into drawers again. There are some clothes that I just LOVED on Lucy and I cannot wait to reuse them ;) Speaking of clothes, I have not done hardly any shopping for baby E.. I cannot wait to start getting a few things here and there for her.

This week we ordered a few more items for her nursery and I cannot wait to get them and get things organized. How many times have I said that? ;) I am pretty anxious. My awesome mother in law has been hard at work making tons of adorable things for the new nursery. She made a new changing pad cover, as well as boppy cover and the crib sheet I already posted on. I am so in love with all the items so far. I guess I haven't been as crazy about buying "stuff" with this pregnancy because I am more excited about the sweet little girl who will be making her arrival.

This week was a strange one for sure. I started having REAL contractions :( They only lasted a little over an hour but they were completely time able and completely in my back ;( I had back labor with Lucy and it was the worst thing in the world. When I started feeling these contractions, it was like a flashback right into the nightmare of labor. This has happened twice and both times I was able to take it easy, tylenol and hydrate like crazy. I am really hoping it doesn't happen again. Really want her to stay in for a good 7-8 weeks at the least.

Takin It EASY!

Besides the contractions. I've been feeling more tired this week, as well as heartburn. I had NO heartburn at all with Lucy. It's no joke for sure, tums have been my best friend :)

  1. Love that first pic! Totally a baby bump :)
I literally haven't bought a single thing for little guy's nursery. Like, nothing. I have only bought clothes. We have cloth diapers and plan on keeping him in our room for the first month or so anyways so I'm not freaking out about it. I am chomping at the bit to start putting things together. I have some ideas for some art work that will be made my Claire. We have the crib picked out. As well as some crib sheets and some accessories. Just need to make some purchases. I think it's awesome that your mother-in-law is making things for baby E's room.

I have some crazy strong contractions too but nothing timetable and nothing different than I had when I was pregnant with Claire. And heartburn... The last week has been full of heartburn and upset tummy. I too am pushing the tums. Ummm are we having the same pregnancy?! Lol

Well love I hope you stop having contractions and can get some much-needed rest. I am so excited to learn baby girl's name :) Happy 30 weeks to us!!!!

    1. You HAVE bought clothes ;) I've seen your posts! That little man is one lucky little guy! I haven't bought little E any clothes. We have so many from Lucy that it is super hard to justify buying tons of clothes. That's awesome that you will be doing the cloth diaper route, I wish I was that brave.

That's so cute that Claire will be making art for his nursery, that so special. We have a ton of stuff picked out as well, we just need to pull the trigger. I am waiting on purchasing some of the items that are not mandatory until she gets a little bigger. You don't need much really when they are first born.

That's good that non are timeable and they are the same as you had with Claire. The ones I have been having have unfortunately been completely timeable and different from ones I had with Lucy :( boo... Yeah heartburn has been no joke!!!!! I think we are having the same pregnancy!! lol

Thank you, I hope yours will settle down soon as well!! And yes we will most likely announce when she is born, Leave some suspence :) who knows we may announce sooner. Yes 10 or less to go!! Home stretch for sure!! xoxo
