I think everyone has their own MOMIFORM. Mine consists usually of easy sundresses, workout clothes or the occasional jeans and a t-shirt. I choose things that I know I can move quickly and easily in, but I always like to look somewhat put together. The one thing that you will most likely always find me wearing is a top knot - I think all the moms out there will agree it is the greatest thing to hit acceptable hairstyles ;) I am not a huge fan of doing my hair, I have never been that good at it, so most days it's up and out of the way or hiding under a wide brimmed hat. Outta sight outta mind ;)
With that being said I wanted to share with you a quick look I put together for a fun little outing at our local coffee shop and park. We do little dates like these a lot. It is so fun and the girls absolutely eat it up, literally. When the family dates always end at the park who can blame them.

I feel as though some days it can be hard to find confidence in throwing an outfit together to run to the park. Or I find myself hiding under sunglasses and a hat while hoping I don't run into anyone on a desperate run to target for diapers.
It's not how God calls us to find beauty in Him. I shouldn't be ashamed of my face without makeup (Lord knows I avoid mirrors without it). I need to find that confidence in the Lord that I am beautiful the way I am. I have said it so many times before but we are all breathtakingly beautiful in the eyes of the Lord yet we desperately desire the worlds approval of our outward beauty. When I see a mom at the park (or anywhere really) my heat fills with joy as she is as beautiful as she can be while serving the Lord & loving on and raising her beautiful children. It is in those moments I feel my confidence rising as my focus shifts from the worlds image of beauty to the Lords image. How lucky are we that He thinks every ounce of us is perfect, even the parts we hate.
Hope today you can feel as beautiful as you are.
xoxo
